Their anti TPPA stance needs to be reviewed under the context of their past big business actions which include: Approving Asset sales in 2012 . Approving the Te Ture Whenua Maori Bill, which ultimately places the power of the iwi into a small aristocratic elite, known by some, as the Business Brown Table. The move was opposed widely by Maori lay people and academics alike. Hone Harawira, who entered into an alliance with the Maori Party, stated in 2016 that the Te Ture Whenua Maori Bill, is an ugly and crude attempt to cut away the remaining protections over Maori land. “It will strip the mana of the Maori Land Court, transfer its powers to a government agency, and deny Maori the right to appeal the agency’s decisions.” And records which have been held with the Maori Land Court for more than 100 years, will be handed over to Land Information New Zealand, and be harder and more expensive for Maori land owners to access.” Hone warned new corporate structures and rules, making it easier to partition land, will make it easier for foreigners to get their hands on Maori land. It will allow a small clique, aligned with multinationals, to exploit New Zealand’s natural resources and strategic assets. Mr Harawira also said “Maori people have had their battles with the Maori Land Court over the years, they could find comfort in the fact that the people who work there, are Maori, and understand what they are going through, decisions could be appealed, and judges try to get the parties to resolve differences, rather than impose rulings that satisfy no-one.” The Review was led by big dairy interests Parininihi ki Waitotara (A Tainui and Ngai Tahu Corporation) and included Patsy Reedy, The former lawyer who specialised in Privatisation, who rubber stamped the Security Intelligence Bill, and was later awarded the role of NZ Governor General, despite admitting she “knew little about constitutional law” The Maori Party affiliated “Federation of Maori Authorities” supports the TPPA as do the Iwi Management Boards of Tainu and Ngai tahu. Northland iwi leaders have either dodged the issue by saying they understand the concern, but Maori needed to be better informed, or, that it was up to individual hapus to decide for themselves. Meanwhile, the corporate arm of the iwi, had clearly made up their mind. Traci Houpapa, the chair of the Federation of Maori Authorities (Foma), Said the TPP had obvious benefits for Maori exporters and businesses, and that would flow through to communities. Taranaki-based Parininihi ki Waitotara chair, Hinerangi Raumati, said most of the assets were in dairy, and while the deal did not deliver as much as had been hoped for, she did not believe it was something to be scared about. She said she was “more worried about the dairy payout in the short-term”. In 2012, Maori people booed the Maori Party at a Hikoi, held in relation to their perceived support of oil drilling, fracking, mining, & using the railway as part of the cycleway, asset sales, the Sky City casino deal, Treaty of Waitangi claims, big business bribes, and student loan changes. In a last ditch attempt to gain votes, The Maori Party has entered into a deal with New Zealand’s largest gangs, to get the gangs to vote, so as to access the “missing millions” of those who don’t vote. Hone Hawira has lent his support for this risky idea. To see a full report on the role of gangs in NZ politics as engineered by globalist see this link at Postman Investigates, Written By Ben Vidgen. https://www.facebook.com/postmaninvestigates/photos/rpp.165364613522137/1669952226396694/?type=3&theater The move by Mana to cut a deal with the Maori Party, needs to be seen in the context of a deal made with the Maori Party not to run a candidate in Te Tai Tokerau against mana, if mana wont run against their candidates elsewhere. This contrasts against the 2014 election, Where The Maori Party’s Te Hira Paenga, Reminded voters of the importance of strategic voting, to ensure Mana’s defeat, by Kelvin Davis in Te Tai Tokerau. The Mana/Maori Party alliance, Seems like a last ditch by the Maori Party, To stay in power, and more importantly, aimed at blocking Winston Peters’ NZ First, and set to rob NZ First of valuable party votes. Yet, that deal, and their odd policy of recruiting gang members to vote, now seems up in the air, as The Maori Party leaders appear to woo Labour, since the rise of Kelvin Davis (The Labour candidate for Te Tai Tokerau) and Jacinda Adern, To Labour leadership. Labour or Mana? Hmm, you can’t have it both ways. Or can you? Ultimately it does not matter if the Maori party win votes, or Labour do. The party structure ultimately means, The same Maori aristocracy & corporate interests, coo about their people not understanding the TPPA, While their corporate interests engineer legislative processes, which will exclude the wider Maori population, at a cost to national sovereignty, for both Maori and Pakeha, And out a self interest, will be entrenched in government, Even if the Maori Party is defeated in the polls, For this elites representatives, are now reframing themselves under a new camouflage, such as the ones being currently constructed around globalist Jacinda Adern, whose second in command, Kelvin Davis, Hone’s rival in Te Tai tokerau, Comes from powerful Northland family, Which like the Adern family, Has ties to both the police, And the judiciary elite of this country known as Aotearoa. Different regime same shit.
