It's not always easy leaving one form of life and transitioning into another, in fact I doubt anyone who has truly changed their entire life direction did so without a struggle, but it is in that struggle that you find your strength.
Leaving the workforce and devoting myself to full time activism was never a lifelong dream and to be honest it still isn't, I'd much rather be entertaining people with movies, music and comedy, but that's not going to happen and there's no time for that dream any more.
The situation has to be dark, the challenges great and victory all but a dream in order to motivate someone to self sacrifice for others, so many people I've interviewed had no one else to turn to, no support or sympathetic ears, it is primarily for those people that I began this journey, someone had to give them a platform to speak and tell their stories.
