After sending away a few official information act (OIA) requests to the New Zealand government to start the research into a documentary on UFO's, the media made a huge case about one of them he sent out as satire, "Is John Key a shape shifting reptilian trying to enslave the human race?"
Firstly, instead of the OIA people saying "lol this is a joke"
They actually answered the request by saying despite their best efforts they couldn't provide proof the Prime minister is not a reptile!
On top of that so many of the media actually thought the request was serious! This highlights 2 things, the stupidity of bureaucrats and media in this country.

We laugh and share stories of frustration ever trying to "wake" people up from their slumber but often being on the receiving end of frustration and get ostracized by the very people you're trying to inform.
Also it is interesting to note that many are predicting a consciousness shift by a certain date and others predict doom, one has to wonder with so much going on in the world, so many people, ideas, facts and news how can anyone take any long term predictions seriously if we're still not even capable of what's even going to happen tomorrow unless it's predicting a sunrise?
