VIDEO: Who Are You Really Voting For? TOP The Opportunities Party, Gareth Morgan
(NZ Election Series Part 8)
TOP has adopted the red peak flag favoured by Greens, a symbol of republicanism, Taranaki (home base of Ngai Tahu and Tainui iwi) which means “first to the light” a symbol of ‘illumination’ or enlightenment.
Morgans enlightenment extends to the sell off state owned assets,
beginning with publicly owned media outlets.
“The Government’s partial sell down of a number of state-owned assets is almost done and dusted,
with only Genesis yet to go on the block.
New Zealand has nevertheless instigated a referendum on the issue.
That referendum was over whether the public thinks it a good idea to sell up to 49% of our electricity companies and Air NZ.
I will be voting yes”.
He replied “it would be National/Act”,
Morgan’s offered to top a Givealittle campaign with $1 million or so,
To save Awaroa Beach,
for The Abel Tasman National Park –
as long as he,
and his family,
got exclusive use of the property for 15 years.
His Party received endorsements from the Corporate news,
Nick Smith’s suspicions are that many see his party as a means to steal,
and split third party votes,
including votes from Winston Peters’ centre right voters,
as the left themselves,
seek to nab Peters’ support from working class circles.
Morgan, the asset selling globalist
& loving fan of the free market,
Says he is also a big fan,
of new Labour leader,
Morgan, as if to confirm his party’s main role,
Is to neutralise New Zealand First’s Winston Peters Saying that a ”Cheshire cat grin doesn't disguise the fact New Zealand First is selling Maori down the river".
It is encouraging that the major political parties,
Have reacted negatively to this latest Brash reincarnation.
It looks as though his only chance politically,
with his race-based approach to re-writing New Zealand’s constitutional history,
is to hitch his wagon to New Zealand First,
Which ironically, has the same shallow appreciation of the difference between a treaty,
and a document of surrender.
Yet Morgan has no love for the Winston hating Greens either,
And much of the research unearthing New Zealand’s dodgy Carbon trading,
In fact comes from the Morgan Foundation
(Motive asides, the research is still worth looking at)
and the aim seems to be, to sink the Greens.
Gareth Morgan's own political party,
has deliberately sought to recruit former careerist politicians,
Including Green Mp’s David Hay & Teresa Moore (and a failed attempt at recruiting Julie Anne Genter)
With these new members,
Morgan planned to launch a cannabis law-reform policy,
after its research found that the issue,
was easily the most important to young voters.
Morgans policy seems to be what ever’s popular with the third parties,
And his primary aim, seems to be to weaken their voting base.
Its only when you review his material,
prior to announcing his decision to run for office,
Do you get a clear idea of where Morgan himself stands.
On the TPPA,
Morgan dodged the bullet,
Saying the issue was not about free trade and that “FREE TRADE IS GENERALLY GOOD - be wary of the anti-trade luddites,
that want to cut New Zealand off from the world.”
He concluded In summary that “we remain in a ‘wait and see’ mode, on the TPPA”.
On defence, and New Zealand’s nuclear free policy,
Morgan has previously critiqued Prime Minister Clark with naivety for choosing to:
"stand on the sidelines,
and run moral arguments that are of little relevance,
to anyone but ourselves."
He described the 1980s anti-nuclear policy as
"another stance of convenience"
and a "luxury we could afford" campaign,
that "ditching the nuclear-propelled ships policy, is an obvious way to appease the hostility the US and Australia will have towards us.
So, if you Vote TOP,
If you vote for Gareth Morgan,
You will simply be voting,
For yet another illuminated globalist.
